Improving the uptake of DSMES programs
Using community-based participatory research methods we intend to not only improve the reach of diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) programs but also improve patient and provider-reported outcomes.
Striving to advance implementation science and improve public health outcomes.

The University of Pittsburgh Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research Center is part of a network of 20 academic research centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. All Prevention Research Centers in the network study how people and their communities can avoid or reduce the risk for chronic diseases.
